An inspection that means something
A DOT annual inspection covers the systems that put trucks out of service at roadside: brake linings and drums, air system integrity, steering components, suspension, frame, coupling devices, tires, wheels and lighting. Our technicians work on those exact systems all day, so the inspection is a real evaluation, not a clipboard exercise.
You get the completed inspection report and a sticker for the vehicle. If a component is close to its wear limit, we tell you how much life is left so you can plan the repair around your schedule instead of a roadside violation.
Fail items fixed under one roof
The frustrating part of an inspection failure is the second trip. Because we are a full heavy-duty repair shop, a failed brake measurement or a cracked spring hanger becomes a work order in the same visit. For fleets, we can schedule inspections in batches so your trucks rotate through without wrecking your dispatch board.

Questions we hear
Straight answers
How often does my truck need a DOT inspection?
Federal rules require a periodic inspection at least once every 12 months for qualifying commercial vehicles, and the current inspection report has to be retained. Many of our fleet customers pair the annual inspection with a scheduled PMI service so the truck is only down once.
Do you inspect trailers too?
Yes. Trailers carry their own inspection requirement, and we inspect and repair trailer brakes, lighting, suspensions, floors and doors at the same location.
What happens if my truck fails?
We document exactly what failed and why, give you a repair estimate, and in most cases can perform the repair in the same shop. You are never left with a failed sheet and no plan.
