Front End Alignments
Steer tires are too expensive to burn on bad geometry, and a truck that fights the road all day burns fuel and drivers too. An honest alignment starts underneath the chassis, because you cannot align worn parts.
Mechanical & Driveline
Inspection first, always
An alignment performed over worn drag links, tie rod ends or kingpins is a receipt, not a repair: the settings walk away as soon as the joints flex under load. We inspect the front end first, tell you if something needs replacing, and then set toe, camber and caster to specification. If nothing is worn, you get the alignment and the confirmation your steer axle is healthy.
Bring us a pull, an off-center steering wheel, a vibration or a steer tire wearing on one shoulder, and we will tell you whether alignment, balance or a worn component owns the symptom.

Alignment is a fuel and tire line item
A misaligned tractor scrubs its steer tires sideways every mile and drags the drives along for the ride. On a set of commercial tires that is real money per axle, and the fuel penalty from a truck pushing against its own geometry runs alongside it. Trucks that pound the I-10 and I-295 corridors daily earn back an alignment check faster than most owners expect.
We also check drive axle and trailer tracking, because a tractor aligned to itself still fights the road if the tandems behind it are pointed somewhere else.

Questions we hear
Straight answers
How often should a truck be aligned?
At any new symptom (pull, off-center wheel, shoulder wear), after any steering or suspension repair, when new steer tires go on, and periodically for trucks on rough or heavily loaded duty. Tire wear tells the truth.
Can a curb strike or a bad joint really knock out alignment?
Yes, and Jacksonville has contenders on the port approaches. A single hard hit can move toe enough to start feathering a steer tire the same week.
Do you align tandems and trailers, or only the steer axle?
Both. Thrust angle and trailer tracking matter as much as the steer axle: an out-of-line tandem makes the tractor crab down the road and scrubs tires at every axle.
